The Purple Death Cruising Club was formed during the winter sailing season in Auckland 1988.

It was originally going to be the Purple Death Yacht Club, but with more than a few friends with motor-driven vessels we decided to make a cruising club so we could encompass all.

Below are some examples of apparel that we've done for various yacht races and campaigns.

It either scared the hell out of competing crews or left them shaking their heads thinking, what a pack of plonkers!
